I'm so busy at work, at home, studying, going to the beach (and playing Farmville
but I miss dA so much...
As you could immagine from the title, I haven't come back from the Galapagos islands, and looks that I won't do it for a while.
I'm soooo happy here:
I love my job at the Charles Darwin Foundation so much (you can see what I'm doing here: [link] )
I'm living in a small apartment with my bf and two tiny lovely kittens
The place keeps looking amazing, also after almost 3 years living here: I still feel overwhelmed when I look outside the window, or walk from home to work, or when I simply go out for an ice cream.
I haven't bought my dreamed EOS yet, but it's in my 2011 new year resolution list
At the moment, my photography workflow sucks a lot...
I always wished to be able of do something like
take a set of pictures, then go home and take a nap, and during the next w-e do all the selection-cropping-adjustment job, and take the whole next week for the uploading session (can you immagine yourself uploading a whole set of pictures with a 5k Up / 128k Down satellite connection?)
But it never happens: after a couple of months I still have my 80 selected pictures waiting for adjustments, keywords and titles, and then a new set of pictures comes in...
(And when finally something comes out, it simply goes to my flickr account [link] )
I hope this will change soon..
For now, I'm planning my comeback... stay tuned
